The 2025 teen lock-in is scheduled for Saturday, August 2nd starting at 9pm. The cost is $20 per teen and covers a fun night of activities and food for our teenage members such as s’mores, food, and fun activities/games. There may be some water games, so dress accordingly. Please note as this is a special event for our older SHRA kids, attendees must be at least 13yo or to turn 13yo in the fall of 2025.

We will also need parents of teens to help volunteer, primarily to chaperone; but we could also use help with any related activities (e.g., bringing drinks). For those parents with teens, we cannot pull this off unless we get enough volunteers, so if you want your teen to have a teen lock-in, please volunteer by completing the Google form.

Please also note, in 2023 there was SHRA physical property misuse and destruction at this event. This will NOT be tolerated; remember the SHRA code of conduct is in full effect for attending members and guests, and any observed poor behavior or vandalization will result in (at minimum) removal from the event, with potential financial responsibility to repair/replace.

For those parents that sign-up to chaperone, please note that the event ends fairly late (at least for parents) at 12:30 AM and there may be some work required to make sure the facility is in good shape for the next morning.

Please sign-up your teenager no later than Friday 8/1 so we can plan accordingly and have the appropriate number of adults to help out.
